ܗܟܢܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܚܫܝܒܝܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܡܫܡܫܢܐ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܪܒܝ ܒܬܐ ܕܐܪܙܘܗܝ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' d'rzwhy bth' wrby dmshykh' mshmshn' 'yk lkwn khshybyn hwyn hkn'
So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants, and stewards of God’s mysteries.

ܗܪܟܐ ܡܟܝܠ ܡܬܒܥܐ ܒܪܒܝ ܒܬܐ ܕܐܢܫ ܟܕ ܡܗܝܡܢ ܢܫܬܟܚ
nshthkkh mhymn kd d'nsh bth' brby mthbe' mkyl hrk'
Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.

ܠܝ ܕܝܢ ܗܕܐ ܒܨܝܪܘܬܐ ܗܝ ܠܝ ܕܡܢܟܘܢ ܐܬܕܝܢ ܐܘ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܒܪ ܐܢܫ ܐܠܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܐܢܐ ܢܦܫܝ ܕܐܢ ܐܢܐ
'n' d'n npshy 'n' 'pl' 'l' 'nsh br kl mn 'w 'thdyn dmnkwn ly hy btsyrwth' hd' dyn ly
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man’s judgment. Yes, I don’t judge my own self.

ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܕܡ ܒܢܦܫܝ ܚܫܝܫ ܐܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܠܘ ܒܗܕܐ ܐܙܕܕܩܬ ܕܝܢܝ ܓܝܪ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܘ
hw mry' gyr dyny 'zddqth bhd' lw 'l' 'n' khshysh bnpshy mdm gyr l'
For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܙܒܢܐ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܕܝܢܝܢ ܥܕܡܐ ܕܢܐܬܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܘ ܕܡܢܗܪ ܟܣܝܬܗ ܕܚܫܘܟܐ ܘܓܠܐ ܡܚܫܒܬܗܘܢ ܕܠܒܘܬܐ ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܢܗܘܐ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' mn 'nsh l'nsh shwbkh' nhw' whydyn dlbwth' mkhshbthhwn wgl' dkhshwk' ksythh dmnhr hw mry' dn'th' edm' dynyn thhwwn zbn' qdm mn l' hn' mTl
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

ܗܠܝܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܚܝ ܡܛܠܬܟܘܢ ܗܘ ܣܡܬ ܥܠ ܦܪܨܘܦܐ ܕܝܠܝ ܘܕܐܦܠܘ ܕܒܢ ܬܐܠܦܘܢ ܕܠܐ ܬܬܪܥܘܢ ܝܬܝܪ ܡܢ ܡܐ ܕܟܬܝܒ ܘܐܢܫ ܥܠ ܚܒܪܗ ܠܐ ܢܬܪܝܡ ܡܛܠ ܐܢܫ
'nsh mTl nthrym l' khbrh el w'nsh dkthyb m' mn ythyr ththrewn dl' th'lpwn dbn wd'plw dyly prtswp' el smth hw mTlthkwn 'khy dyn hlyn
Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.

ܡܢܘ ܓܝܪ ܒܨܟ ܐܘ ܡܢܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܟ ܕܠܐ ܢܣܒܬ ܘܐܢ ܢܣܒܬ ܠܡܢܐ ܡܫܬܒܗܪ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܟ ܗܘ ܕܠܐ ܢܣܒܬ
nsbth dl' hw 'yk 'nth mshthbhr lmn' nsbth w'n nsbth dl' lk 'yth mn' 'w btsk gyr mnw
For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

ܡܢ ܟܕܘ ܣܒܥܬܘܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܥܬܪܬܘܢ ܘܒܠܥܕܝܢ ܐܡܠܟܬܘܢ ܐܫܬܘܦ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܠܟܬܘܢ ܕܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܢܡܠܟ ܥܡܟܘܢ

You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you.

ܣܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܕܠܢ ܠܫܠܝܚܐ ܐܚܪܝܐ ܗܘ ܣܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܡܘܬܐ ܕܗܘܝܢ ܬܐܛܪܘܢ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܘܠܡܠܐܟܐ ܘܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ
wlbnynsh' wlml'k' lelm' th'Trwn dhwyn dlmwth' 'yk 'lh' smn hw 'khry' lshlykh' dln gyr 'n' sbr
For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.

ܚܢܢ ܫܛܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܚܟܝܡܐ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܚܢܢ ܟܪܝܗܐ ܘܐܢܬܘܢ ܚܝܠܬܢܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܒܚܝܢ ܘܚܢܢ ܡܨܛܥܪܝܢ
mtsTeryn wkhnn mshthbkhyn 'nthwn khylthn' w'nthwn kryh' khnn bmshykh' khkym' dyn 'nthwn mshykh' mTl shTy' khnn
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.

ܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܕܐ ܫܥܬܐ ܟܦܢܝܢܢ ܘܨܗܝܢܢ ܘܥܪܛܠܝܝܢܢ ܘܡܬܩܦܚܝܢܢ ܘܒܝܬ ܩܝܡܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܢ
ln lyth qym' wbyth wmthqpkhynn werTlyynn wtshynn kpnynn sheth' lhd' edm'
Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.

ܘܠܐܝܢܢ ܟܕ ܦܠܚܝܢܢ ܒܐܝܕܝܢ ܡܨܥܪܝܢ ܠܢ ܘܡܒܪܟܝܢܢ ܪܕܦܝܢ ܠܢ ܘܡܣܝܒܪܝܢܢ
wmsybrynn ln rdpyn wmbrkynn ln mtseryn b'ydyn plkhynn kd wl'ynn
We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

ܡܨܚܝܢ ܠܢ ܘܒܥܝܢܢ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܢܦܬܐ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܘܟܘܦܪܐ ܕܟܠܢܫ ܥܕܡܐ ܠܗܫܐ
lhsh' edm' dklnsh wkwpr' hwyn delm' npth' 'yk mnhwn wbeynn ln mtskhyn
Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܒܗܬܟܘܢ ܟܬܒ ܐܢܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܒܢܝܐ ܚܒܝܒܐ ܡܪܬܐ ܐܢܐ
'n' mrth' khbyb' dlbny' 'yk 'l' hlyn 'n' kthb d'bhthkwn 'yk hw' l'
I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܪܒܘ ܬܪܐܐ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܠܐ ܠܐ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܐܒܗܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܓܝܪ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܘ ܐܘܠܕܬܟܘܢ ܒܣܒܪܬܐ
bsbrth' 'wldthkwn hw 'n' mshykh' gyr byshwe 'bh' sgy'' l' 'l' bmshykh' lkwn nhwwn thr'' rbw gyr 'n
For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, you don’t have many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.

ܒܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܕܒܝ ܬܬܕܡܘܢ

I beg you therefore, be imitators of me.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܫܕܪܬ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܛܝܡܬܐܘܣ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܒܪܝ ܚܒܝܒܐ ܘܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܒܡܪܝܐ ܕܗܘ ܢܥܗܕܟܘܢ ܐܘܪܚܬܝ ܕܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܝܟ ܡܕܡ ܕܡܠܦ ܐܢܐ ܒܟܠܗܝܢ ܥܕܬܐ
edth' bklhyn 'n' dmlp mdm 'yk dbmshykh' 'wrkhthy nehdkwn dhw bmry' wmhymn' khbyb' bry d'ythwhy lTymth'ws lwthkwn shdrth hn' mTl
Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

ܐܝܟ ܗܘ ܕܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܐܬܚܬܪܘ ܐܢܫܐ ܡܢܟܘܢ
mnkwn 'nsh' 'thkhthrw lwthkwn 'n' 'th' dl' dyn hw 'yk
Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

ܐܠܐ ܐܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܨܒܐ ܒܥܓܠ ܐܬܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܘܬܟܘܢ ܘܐܕܥ ܠܐ ܡܠܬܗܘܢ ܕܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܪܝܡܝܢ ܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܚܝܠܗܘܢ
khylhwn 'l' npshhwn dmrymyn dhlyn mlthhwn l' w'de lwthkwn 'n' 'th' begl tsb' mry' 'n 'l'
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.

ܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܒܡܠܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܚܝܠܐ
bkhyl' 'l' bmlth' hwth l' d'lh' gyr mlkwthh
For God’s Kingdom is not in word, but in power.
